Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

installing and enabling the webdeveloper plugin breaks flash on hulu.com

disabling this plugin fixes it.

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.

You can start the profile manager with the following command:
firefox -ProfileManager

I use version 1.1.8 of the toolbar with no issues. Did you install the version from the Ubuntu repos or from addons.mozilla.org?

Hi, thanks for following up. Open source rocks!

So I tried what you recommended, and hulu worked.

Then I went back to the Default profile and re-enabled the web developer plugin and it worked.

So, whatever happened, I can't reproduce it anymore.
