Bug Description

Binary package hint: amule

after i open amule and its running the system freezes for a second and work very slow for a few minutes. after that its working great again and after some time it work slow again for a few minutes and then fine again. this is till i close amule

i checked the monitor to see why it happens and saw that amule is working on between 20-80% CPU when the computer gets slow. any other time the CPU percentage usage is normal (about 0 in the system monitor)

my ubuntu is 9.10 64 bit
amule ver 2.2.6 (from about in the software)

hardware info
CPU Q9400
MB DP43TF intel
graphic card Nvidia 9500

if there is anything more that you need please ask for it as this is my first bug report so i don't know what is needed for this

one more thing i saw while trying to understand the problem is that i get this sentence over and over again
"2009-12-19 19:29:41: ServerUDP: Sources received for unknown file" on the amule log whenever the computer is freezing

After a google search about your problem I found this in the amule forums: http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=15255.0 (fake amule servers in your server list)

It does not seem really a bug, but a configuration problem, so closing.

Changed in amule (Ubuntu):
