Bug Description
Binary package hint: thunderbird
Dear Ubuntu developers,
This is not a traditional bugreport with Thunderbird, this is only a wishlist:
If this is possible and not producing problems with Lucid stability purposes, please replace actual Thunderbird version with Thunderbird 3.0.
Why I ask and would like this?
Lot of visual impaired people using Thunderbird 3.0 since beta 2 release. Thunderbird 3.0 works full with Orca screen reader, and full accessible with this screen reader. Now, Ubuntu (and another distributions) contains Thunderbird 2.0.x version, but the 2.x version is not accessible with Orca screen reader.
If you do this upgrade, help lot of visual impaired people to get a full accessible e-mail client, similar with Firefox 3.x versions.
Cheers,
Attila
