Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdemultimedia

This may be related to the other juk SIGSEGV bugs reported. Upgrading to Karmic broke several apps including Amarok and K3b. I tried installing Juk but it acts just like Amarok: files (mp3,wma,flac) files are loaded into the playlist but will not play.

Not currently. Juk now acts the same as Amarok and Dragon Player since
my upgrade to Karmic: MP3 (and other media types) files simply don't
play. I don't believe this is a problem with Juk.

(Media files DO play in vlc and totem)

I'm going to try a clean install. Thanks for looking at this.

Any news on this?

Also, for mp3 playback you'll need to install libxine1-ffmpeg
