Is bug #355389 (Software Center (and Add/Remove Applications) have duplicate listings) a duplicate of this? Please make the description more specific - is this about search results or what you see while something is being installed? I don't see anything unusual while installing software (with software-center 1.1.10 on Lucid)

There is the same problem with the package gobby and gobby-0.5 in Ubuntu 10.04.
