Bug Description

It began with open office. No windows border, minimize, maximize commands in aplication. I even stop using open office and start abyword. Today there's no windows border, minimize, maximize commands in all aplications (firefox, even ubuntu help, all applications there's no windows border!!). Please fix these fast. I'll really apreciated because I can't close the windows applications, maximaze or minimaze them.

The "switch workstation/desktop" doesn't function (there's only one available instead of two) I also notice that I cant movie or resize them by grabbing it (there's no border).

You can work around this problem by using the command:
$ metacity --replace

To automate the process enough to create a script with this command and place to start with the initial programs of Gnome.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version.Thanks in advance.
