The program is running but without audible sound.

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I have this problem with all players including flashplayer (youtube). All programms are running, everything looks normal, but there is no sound, expect ubuntu's own sounds. The programms behave as if the speakers are mute. But of cause the are not 9i checked this more than ones).
