Are you talking about host table located in "/etc/hosts" right? Please could you check if this issue is still occurring in latest release 2.30.2-1ubuntu1 included in Ubuntu Lucid? Thanks!

What I'm talking about is in the "Network Proxy" -> "Ignored Hosts" settings. On my settings, I already add my company's domain, but it doesn't bypass the proxy.

This bug seems still exist in Lucid.
