Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I am using Ubuntu 9.10 - the Karmic Koala - released on A Packard bell desktop with 2 X intel pentium D 2.80 GHZ , 2.0GB memory, 160 HD.

I expected when I click on the connect icon on the ubuntu one folder to connect to my online account of ubuntu one but instead the connect icon changes to connecting for one second and the changes back to connect again without connecting, the same happens to the cloud icon on the starup panel it always display an red x on top of it. when I click connect that red x goes away for one second and then it comes back again.

sorry if I couldn't explain it well

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Fortunately, I think there is a workaround for this problem as I believe it's related to bug 455544 which occurs when the bandwidth preferences are set too low (or to the defaults). If you delete ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf and restart the Ubuntu One client, you should be able to connect. Thank you, Joshua
