Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
1) I am using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala
2) I'm not exactly sure what you're asking
3) Normally, when I update the Windows Firefox client, it prompts me to restart - but I am allowed to dismiss that and have the updates take effect next time I open Firefox. I am expecting similar results - that I am allowed to hide the notification so that I don't accidentally restart my browser while I am trying to work.
4) With my instance of Firefox on Ubuntu, the restart message will not go away, despite repeated efforts to close it. I found a way to hide the message, but it keeps re-appearing.
