Unable to boot in to my computer

Bug Description

I am unable to see the log in screen by booting normally. I am getting the scree only when I boot using the hard disk after coming through the installation menu in the Live CD. It is very puzzling for me. Every time I have to log in to my computer I must have the live CD in one of the optical drives running at the time of booting the system.

When I restart the system and boot up time, the booting happens normally even without the live CD. But every time when I shut down and started up the system, I face this issue.
