When saving a file with nautilus, typing on the keyboard (for example, to enter the name of the file you want to save) immediately starts a quicksearch of the open directory, instead of entering the filename. This is incredibly annoying, as nautilus even highlights the presumed filename's "name" part (as in, "untiled" is highlighted in "untitled.py"), giving the full-on impression that if you type right now, it'll happily accept it instead of jumping around your folder to find a non-existent file.

 * How do you save a file with nautilus? It's not an editor...

The bug is reproducible.

1. Open any application that saves files
2. Use a "File > Save As..." to open a prompt
3. Begin typing

I believe that the bug is part of nautilus, or at least the GTK that deals with saving... I'm not sure what type of prompt it is.

nautilus is the file browser, it's not used in any other software, the fileselectors are coming from gtk
