All applications that I've written that use on_motion_notify_event no longer works on Ubuntu 9.10.

It is very strange, so do I am a coder and I have written
some gtk applications on ubuntu 9.10 that use
the on_motion_notify_event
and they work fine for me on a amd64 machine
