Can't display some channels (permissions issue?)

I have a Technotrend 1500 S. Under 9.04 everything works fine with the latest 0.22-fixes, as well as under Kaffeine. However, using 9.10 and the same latest 0.22-fixes, there are some channels I can't tune to.

The log displays many messages regarding permissions, but the '/var/lib/mythtv/livetv/' is owned by the mythtv group, and I am a member of it.

Can you post the entire output of "ls -alhR /var/lib/mythtv" ? Maybe the files in /var/lib/mythtv/livetv aren't owned by the right user/group, but the directory is good?

Do any of the channels work? Do any files get created in those directories?

After my original report, I waited a week for feedback, but since then I've reinstalled my system with 9.04 in order to get something working...

Hi Peter:

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. As you might imagine we're swamped with open bugs and trying to get caught up.

When you get some free time we'd like to still try to help work out your issue. With the nature of it, i'd recommend a second hard drive for now to do a test install on until we can identify it's root cause. This way you can still have your 9.04 based system up and working while trying to fix issues in newer versions.

I'm going to mark this bug as Won't Fix for now, but when you can get a test env back up to reproduce and try to figure out more what's going on, feel free to mark it as New (or open a new bug).
