Hi Sam,
I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Can you try the following and let me know if it fixes the issue for you?
1. Open Applications- >Accessories- >Passwords & Encryption Keys /one.ubuntu. com/account/ machines/
2. Delete your "Ubuntu One token"
3. Open Firefox and go to: https:/
4. Delete all the machines on the account
5. Restart the Ubuntu One client (you should get a browser window prompting you to add your computer to Ubuntu One)
6. Add your computer
7. Does the client connect and sync now?
Thank you,
Joshua
