File missing on server

Bug Description

a file: http://archive.canonical.com/pool/pa...34.orig.tar.gz is not downloading and it crashed/hanged so many update managers. what to do about it?? Now this is not a bug and just a missing file so no need to report any bug. So what exactly should I do as this is atleast 24 hour old problem. File a bug report for this??

I just reinstalled flashplugin-installer 10.0.42.34ubuntu0.9.10.1 (from karmic-security/karmic-updates) and the download worked without any problems.

didn't work for me even with a proxy. is it a problem related to my network?

I also have updated the kernel to the latest version let me check it with the earlier versions of kernel if it is working or not..

This worked for me:

Terminal
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

add or uncomment

deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu jaunty partner
deb-src http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu jaunty partner

changing jaunty to your release if different

Save and close file

Terminal
sudo dpkg --configure -a

This works fine for me too, I can download this file without problems. The most probably is that was a conectivity problem in your local network or with your ISP. If this problem is still affecting you, reopened or create a new report and inform to ubuntu mirror admins. Thanks in advance

May be some problem with my network, have installed another alternatives for this. Owen, it is already uncommented in sources.list
