After blanking several DVDs with brasero, they were no longer mounted.
Trying to mount them with the command line "sudo mount /dev/sr0" gave the following errors in dmesg:
[ 1305.648095] UDF-fs: No anchor found
[ 1305.648099] UDF-fs: No partition found (1)
[ 1305.795896] ISOFS: Unable to identify CD-ROM format.

It doesn't matter if it's fast or full blanking.

One workaround is to run the command line too dvd+rw-format:
dvd+rw-format -force -lead-out /dev/dvd2
