Adding a torrent not via the add-button in lince, loads files in the last selected folder

If I add a torrent not via the built-in button in the gui, I get no prompt where to save the files to, but it choses the last selected directory.

Occurs in version 1.1, never tested on older versions.

Hi, what methods are you using to add new torrents? Also that behaviour would be the default if the downloading in the default directory option is not selected.

Hey Fernando,
I usually use the web-browser itself to add torrents. I click on download and "open with my favorite client". Since I love to distribute the files I download in several directories, to avoid a bloody sorting aftermath, I don't use the default-directory function.

Now the scenario: I started lince 1.1 the first time --> I use the add torrent button; works perfectly --> next torrent I want to add comes from the browser and lince does not ask for the directory, but instantly adds it to the download queue. Fail.

I did not try the input via console, because I don't use the console for adding torrents since I am a lazy ass.

P.S. Could you make the file-list more useful? I cannot open sample files directly from lince. Opening the folder that contains the file would be already a blessing but a context menu totally awesome!

Hi, after some days thinking about the issue I have decided to implement it, my first thought was to reject that behaviour since directory management is quite complex now.
 I will add a new gui option to let the user choose if he wants to be asked when adding a new torrent in that way.
For the other feature I think is useful I will implement it before the next release.
