Bug Description

After upgrading to 9.10 the system hangs few seconds after finishing starting up.
I removed compiz Samba and any other application that I believed could cause the issue. The problem remains.
Also, I downloaded the iso start disk and the problem also appears when running 9.10 from the CD.
To restart I must perform a hard reboot and cannot send the debug info.

My PC:
 • HP Pavilion a6000
 • Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
 • AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 4200+ (2.2GHz, 512KB+512KB L2 Cache)

I found a work around by reverting to older Intel Driver but clearly this is not acceptable
The driver I got 'out of the box': xserver-xorg-video-intel (2.2.9.0)
The driver I reverted to are: xserver-xorg-video-intel-2.4 (2.4.1.4)

as explained here:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage , so I have classified this bug as a bug in xserver-xorg-video-intel package.
