Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

This can be repeated 100% of the time. Whenever I leave the computer long enough for the monitor to shut off with Firefox 3.5.5 as the foreground window, when I get back the Firefox awesome bar doesn't work anymore. Typing into it brings it up for a tiny fraction of a second and it disappears. Also, when this is happening it loses keystrokes, maybe every 4th or 5th letter I type.

It can be resolved easily: if I give focus to another application window in Gnome and then switch back to Firefox it works flawlessly again but repeats the next time I step away. I've been getting this since 9.04 and the upgrade to 9.10 didn't fix it. I tried a complete removal/reinstallation which didn't help.

Not sure if this is a firefox problem, a compiz problem, an nvidia problem, or a gnome problem.

Thanks
