Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

i am unable to open videos in youtube.i downloaded adobe flash player for ubuntu 8.04.But after double clicking the package,i got the error message saying three packages not downloaded.check your network connection or installation medium. But all this while my connection was active.

i then went to sypnatics package manager, went to setteings>repositories and clicked on all the unclicked links and refreshed.I then sought out flash player.non-free and marked it for "reinstallation"......and applied the changes...then a download of 32 packages started, and i kept getting a message "installing software".After that i got a dialouge box saying changes applied.
