+1 for this. Maybe we could add something similar to "one hint at every access" which many programs have (non exactly that, because I find it extremely annoying).
It seems that even the GTG enthusiasts do not discover by themselves all the features of gtg.

EXAMPLE:
On #gtg irc, one user was saying:
  invernizzi: http://gtg.fritalk.com/public/Screenshots/0.2/gtg-0.2-all-shad.png
   how do you do hacking/gtg tags?
  @hacking/gtg ?
  to get the sub tag

I think that there could be a couple of things to do here...

1) Your FAQ of the day type thing... How about make that into a task... Each
day there is a new task with a small little how-to type thing... Allow this
to be turned on/off in an options panel.

2) There definatly should be a manual for using GTG, including all of the
different hacks that people have found.. Maybe it could just link to a wiki
page so that users can add their own..

Now that's clever!

Normally I hate the "tip of the day" type stuff, but this sounds like it
would be integrated into the whole purpose of the tool, and would serve
to demonstrate it.

In rev 1132, you can use F1 for launching the online documentation ( https://live.gnome.org/gtg/documentation ).
