Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

For one reason or another, either at the fault of Empathy or the user, one may end up with duplicate accounts with logs that they would like to be preserved, without having to keep an unused and duplicate acccount sitting in the account manager.

Accounts (on the same network?), should be mergeable

@Danny Piccirillo can you please explain this feature more clearly. the upstream developer responded to the bug report so it you be great if you explain this on the upstream report.

In empathy 2.29.xx you cannot add two accounts with same credentials so no need to merge (upstream task is also closed) Marking this invalid
