gedit: line numbers are not displayed if a tab is draged out to open an own window

If I have two files open in gedit and then drag one tab out of the gedit window, a new gedit window with the appropriate file opens (as desired). But the line numbers are not displayed anymore. I have to open Edit->Preferences, uncheck and recheck the option "Display Line Numbers". I know it's just a detail, but I thought you would like to know.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME)

not confirming, that works fine here, i get the lines after dropping the tab to a new window.

I'm not the only one with this problem. As Sebastien said, it's a problem upstream. The bug should be fixed in the next version: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602369

The issue should be fixed in the lucid version now
