can not install wrath of the lich king dvd on Ubuntu

Binary package hint: wine

I have installed wow and bc no problem but I cannot install wotlk dvd , I tried to copy the files but I get "The folder "DirectX" cannot be handled because you do not have permissions to read it." and "There was an error copying the file into /home/bill/Desktop/test. : Error opening file: Permission denied " how do I fix this ? If there is a fix that is. Thanks in advance.

oldmanbill, thank you for helping to make Ubuntu better. What would be most helpful is if you could copy-n-paste the exact error messages you are getting, or to post a screenshot of what you see (by using the Print Screen button on your keyboard).

Also, you can search for more information within Wine's application database at winehq.org. This game might have an entry in the database with tips from other users on how to get the program to work.
