Bug Description

Binary package hint: dosemu

After installing xfonts-dosemu dosemu still complains about missing VGA font. I've examined the situation and found two problems:

1. The fonts are installed in the wrong place. /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc instead of /usr/share/X11/fonts/misc.

2. The installed font files are all empty (20 Byte large gz files). That's because the program bdftopcf is missing during package build. Adding the bdftopcf package to the build-depends will help to make sure this problem does not re-appear in the future

About 2: bdftopcf is in Debian in xfonts-utils

Thanks for pointing this out, I just merged 1.2.2-5 and added bdftopcf to build-depends (as it's not in ubuntu's xfont-utils :()

Installing bdftopcf and afterwads the xfonts-dosemu package doesn't solve the 20 byte size problem.

BTW: the installation path for the fonts will be changed???

@bisho: no, bdftopcf needs to be installed while *building* the package, not on your system. This is done in version 1.2.2-5 of dosemu (edgy). The font path is also corrected in this version.
