Application window disappears after disc eject and returns on the presence of new disc

This might be a feature by design, but is annoying to the users.

We spent time to size the RIP window, and adjust the column sizes to make everything show nicely and completely. Then when the CD is ejected the window just disappears, and after inserting a new CD the re-lunched window is totally by the default and all we did to it vanished in the air.

I believe it is better to keep the window open even, when the fields are empty.

or have it as an option how to behave, but in the end, the column width issue needs to be addressed, both for the "defaults" which seem to be quite arbitrary, and for saving the users last specified column widths.
