Bug Description

Binary package hint: sonata

The package for Sonata has a double dependency on Python:

Depends: python (>=2.5)
Depends: python2.5

Since Python 2.6 is the default on Karmic and the official website (http://sonata.berlios.de) says Sonata works on Python >= 2.5, the hard dependency on Python 2.5 could probably be dropped.

I've no clue why the dependecy exists in Ubuntu but not in Debian for same package.

That's fixed since sonata 1.6.2.1-2 in lucid.
