Bug Description

Binary package hint: gconf

1. Installed Ubuntu x64 Server, v9.10 (Karmic) (with just the SSH server setup, not LAMP or anything else)
2. Installed Kubuntu-desktop
3. Installed Xubuntu-desktop
4. Rebooted
5. Logged in with Xubuntu display manager, rather than Kubuntu display manager
6. Error thrown that is automatically being reported here

Many of my applications stops working after upgrade from karmic to Lucid. First and very important GUI is not starting. It just drops me on CLi after throwing lots of error then i have to login via CLI then run STARTX to get the GUI. Tomboy is not working even i have tried with the diff user.
