Rhythmbox does not finish loading Magnatune Catalog

Under Ubuntu 9.10, if I try to load the Magnatune catalog via the Magnatune plugin, it never completes. I tried several approaches to resolve this, but none of them seemed to work. All I got was a "Loading catalog, please wait" with no catalog loaded.

I resolved it by doing the following:

mkdir ~/.cache/rhythmbox/magnatune

It appears the directory isn't created automatically. Once I created this directory, I was able to download the catalog without a problem.

a similar bug was fixed by bug 548693 , are you still able to reproduce the problem? works fine here for me.

It appears this is working fine now (at least the case that I saw is no longer present).
