Binary package hint: hal

I use http://sourceforge.net/projects/fjbtndrv/ for my Fujitsu Siemens T4010, since last ubuntu update (yesterday installed) it crashes in libhal:

dmesg: fscrotd[3024]: segfault at 29 ip 006ed92a sp bff6d590 error 4 in libhal.so.1.0.0[6e3000+11000]

fscrotd is not an ubuntu package, I use version 2.0.1.

Sorry, the problem is the kernel modul, it is not loaded, and I didn't find the problem, I can only load it with insmod, maybe the folder "extra" is not recognized anymore? (the .ko file is in the folder "extra" in the modules directory)

status: New → Invalid
