Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Ubuntuone-client-applet is always unconnected, even when I click on connect.
To connect I need to access the preferrence and mark and unmark limit the bandwidth usage checkbox, then when I click connect its works.
In the folder UbuntuOne also only connects using the method of preferrence.
When I restart my computer I have to repeat the method of preference.

I use a fresh instalation of Ubuntu 9.10.
The packge version is:
ubuntuone-client: 1.0.2-0ubuntu2
ubuntuone-client-gnome: 1.0.2-0ubuntu2
python-ubuntuone-client: 1.0.2-0ubuntu2
python-ubuntuone-storageprotocol: 1.0.2-0ubuntu1

I don't have another packges related to ubuntuone instaled.

I expected to conect in startup or when I click connect.

This problem started in the last update.

Sorry for my poor english.

Jimmy,
thank you for reporting this bug. After reviewing your logs I have determined your bug to be duplicate of bug 455544 . Please check that bug for updates and any possible workarounds. Also make any additional comments there. The Ubuntu One team is working very hard to take care of this bug.

Thank you for helping to make Ubuntu better,

NOTE: The problem is that setting the bandwidth preferences to the defaults (clicking on the checkboxes and not changing the values) results in the read and write limits to be set to -1. The workaround is to delete the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf, restart the client, and don't set the bandwidth settings to the defaults.
