Creating Clip with objects located on different layers makes the objects disapear.

When trying to make a clip from 2 objects situated on different layers the selected objects disappear from the working area.

Same thing happens when making a mask from an object located on a different layer then the other objects.

Not reproduced on Ubuntu 9.10, Inkscape 0.47pre4.

Could you please attach a faulty file so that we can try to reproduce the bug?

Sorry for disturbing you. It may be something wrong with my Video Card Drivers on Ubuntu 9.10.

I verified at work on Windows and I can not reproduce the same bug as home.

Feel free to reopen the report if the problem reoccurs with current stable (0.48) or a recent development snapshot build, and attach the affected SVG file to allow further investigation.
