Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

Working with the "same" account from several computers creates the demand of sharing information about personal mail-adresses for evolution and other mail-clients and IM-accounts, not only contacts, calendar, notes and documents.

In the context of installing a new os from scratch every six month, using several computers, at home, at work, at customers, virtual machines, nettops, mids, (in the future phones), laptops, lending a computer from a colleague, the time to get your personal account in sync to be productive are a huge time thief. UbuntuOne creating an api for this, an internet protocol and a server/SAAS for this, can have a significant role to play in this area.

There are some stubs for this in evolution and LDAP
