ubuntu one couch db dones not store postal address information

Binary package hint: evolution

I am using Ubuntu karmic and have try testing the ubuntu one feature in Evolution. I started adding contacts and their addresses into the system then found that all of the postal address that i had saved into ubuntu one no longer existed. SO i have lost my addresses. I have not investigated thoroughly how to reproduce this but all i did was add into contacts and add extra postal address information then reloaded evolution a few days later and it was gone.

This is a known problem, that is fixed in the packages available in our beta PPA -> https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntuone/+archive/beta

So please install those and reopen the bug if it still happens

I have reopened the bug after testing from the beta ppa, the issue described above still exists.

The problem is with the contents from the large Address: box in evolution under new cotact not being uploaded into the Ubuntu One Web interface. I am not sure if the data is now lost after updating the database but this information could be essential when on the road and you can not access it right now. I will keep my eye on the Address field to see if it is removed again. I suspect that when is syncs it might disappear. Watch this space.
