I tried to upgrade to Alsa 1.0.21 following the instructions provided, and the upgrade apparently didn't happen.
Hi, normally we prefer people to use "ubuntu-bug" or "apport-collect" but alsa-info.sh gives ok information as well. First, is it the (on-board) HDA or the AudioPhile card that does not work? For Audiophile, I recall you might have to change the channel mapping: https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/DebuggingSo undProblems/ KarmicCaveats# Alternate% 20channel% 20mappings% 20needed% 20for%20ICE1712
Also, the "DAC" mixer control was at zero, try raising it in alsamixer.
