Bug Description
ever since i got my new 2560x1600 monitor i've been having problems with the resolution settings in karmic kubuntu (9.10). when the computer starts the resolution is always set to 1280x800, so i changed it in display settings and it works. but when i restart the computer it sets it to 1280x800 again. as soon as i open the display options window from system settings the resolution is changed to the correct setting, but not until i do that. i don't have to re-enter the settings or click, just opening the window does it. i's getting really annoying to do that same thing after every restart.
