Bug Description
Binary package hint: mit-scheme
PROBLEM: running mit-scheme in the normal way, with the command line:
mit-scheme -edwin -edit
causes scheme to run in console-mode only.
This behavior is different from the debian-sarge package, which opens
an emacs-like window on the X server.
Questions: is there a configuration option somewhere that controls this? Or
is scheme attempting to connect to the X Server on $DISPLAY, failing, and
then falling back into console mode? (This is the documented default behavior.)
Testing was performed on Kubuntu 6.06
