Windows installer problems 0.47

Installing 0.47 after having 0.46 installed, on a German Win XP:

English dialog brings error: previous version detected, but uninstall.dat would be missing. After click on OK:

German dialog asks, if 0.46 should be uninstalled first. > click on YES > uninstall works fine, but suddenly:

German dialog asks, "Die Datei C" ("The file C"), options for answering are YES, ALWAYS, NO, NEVER. Obviously, the dialog text is cut. The uninstall windows behind shows a progress bar stalling at the following file to be uninstalled:
C:\Programme\Inkscape\python\Lib\re.py

Rest of uninstallation/installation seems to work flawlessly.

This is due to an obscure fundamental flaw in the uninstall script (yes, the problem is in the uninstall script, not the install script). I'm rewriting it for 0.48 (God willing). It's actually the same issue as #489022, just different symptoms.
