Bug Description
Binary package hint: geany
.tpl (template) files are not automatically formatted using Geany. To acquire desired format, I still need to do it manually from Documents -> Set FileType -> Scripting Language -> PHP Source file or Markup Language -> HTML Source file. Is there a way to automate the file recogniton and formatting? or its a known bug..thanks

You can easily change this locally by going to "Tools" -> "Configuration Files" -> "filetype_ extensions. conf" and adding the text "*.tpl;" to the PHP-line. After saving this config-file, Geany should recognize the filetype correctly automatically.
If you think this should be made permanent in Geany, please report a bug for Geany itself at http:// www.geany. org/Support/ Bugs.
