HP office jet 6310 on Ubuntu 8.04 will not print

I have a office jet 6310 all in one I can't get it to print it will scan using X-sane and a line the cartridges but it will not print , by the way I using HPLIP .

I installed ubuntu 8.04 for a friend . I installed and upgraded HPLIP to 3.9.2 and the system recognized the printer and installed it. It will clean the cartridges scan with X-sane but it will not print the printer name is HP Office Jet 6310 All-in-One .

HPLIP comes up at the bottom right corner and says job completed !
