Bug Description

Binary package hint: brasero

I tried to burn an audio CD from mp3 files by
- creating an audio CD project
- Dragging the mp3 files from nautilus

Problem:
Brasero complained "File type is not suitable for audio CD" (free translation from german)

When I tried to play the file in Totem, it asked to install some non-free gstreamer plugins. After this, both Totem and Brasero could play / burn mp3 files.

Expected behaviour:
Brasero should not reject mp3 files, but rather ask if the user wants to install some non-free plugins, as Totem does.

Ubuntu 9.10
Brasero 2.28.2

according to this bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=534766 ; that should work fine on brasero 2.28. could you drop your comments there? Thanks in advance.

am running ubuntu 10.10 braselo will not accept mp3 file to burn. Whilte trying to make an audio CD from MP3 files for instance, Brasero should
propose the user to install missing codecs
