Bug Description
when attaching a new drive a drive manager needs to come up and ask what you want to call it and then mount it in /media under that name. Or ask you if you want to permanently add the drive to your system.

This is a feature request and not a trivial one and there might be some other reasons too else it would have been in linux for a long time
