Did you install a previous version of spectro by hand (easyinstall ?)

Hmmm...no I haven't...This problem only cropped up recently, though...

You can get rid of the error by setting overwrite-local=1 in /etc/python/debian_config .

Then try performing the update again. This will likely resolve your issue. If so please set the bug's status to Invalid. Thanks in advance!
