Conduit can be integrated with Ubuntu-one?

Yes, it can be integrated. Conduit would need to talk to the CouchDB instance running on the user's desktop or on a remote machine, which shouldn't be too hard. So yes, it's doable, but it's not right now in our plans for Lucid, so unless someone from the community takes the work, it should have to wait

This should be quite easy to add to Conduit. Assuming the record specs for Contacts and things are somewhat frozen then it shouldnt take more than a few hours.

Whats more interesting to me is integrating with the file store. It could just sync to the Ubuntu One folder but something with a bit more flexibility would be nicer in the long run.

Personally I use dropbox (Mac support) so an interop solution that falls back to a local folder (Ubuntu One or Dropbox) would be good to.

I use Ubuntu one and i sync my contacts with a ubuntu one folder because i have problems with ubuntu-one contacts and i can only add the birthdays from ubuntuone and even if they do appear in evolution they don`t show up in the birthday calendar and clock applet. So for me this solution works best
