Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I had a problem with the keyring and I solved it deleting the key store, but since that Ubuntu One doesn't connect... even with a different account from the one that was registered. I've been searching for a solution and all I've found is that deleting the sync config file on .config directory solves the problem, but the thing is... that file doesn't even exists. So what can I do? i really really need my ubuntu one client back again, so hope you guys can help me.

Thanks

BTW, sorry for my bad english

Hi, So the ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf file does not exist on your computer? If you're trying to find it in Nautilus, you'll need to show hidden files by pressing Ctrl-H when in Nautilus. You can go to your home directory, press Ctrl-H and then you should be able to navigate to .config/ubuntuone and delete syncdaemon.conf. Thank you, Joshua

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Fortunately, I think there is a workaround for this problem as I believe it's related to bug 455544 which occurs when the bandwidth preferences are set too low (or to the defaults). If you delete ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf and restart the Ubuntu One client, you should be able to connect. Thank you, Joshua
