Cannot sync PALM TREO 680 after last update

After the last kernel update, my PALM TREO 680 stopped syncing with Jpilot. These are the related lines in dmesg:

It looks like more to a kernel issue.

Do you see the PALM TREO 680 device using the lsusb command?

Yes, I agree. I reported it from jpilot just in case. Let me update
another system and try it here, as well as with older kernels, just to
confirm, and I correct my bug report to change the package.

I updated another system to the 2.6.31-15-generic #50-Ubuntu kernel and here it works. So it seems a problem specific of my other system. I set the but to invalid.
