Bug Description

I upgraded to Dapper from Breezy, and everything worked just fine, but it seems that there is some problem with painting the buttons in GTK (GDK?) and Gnome. The colors of the buttons are totally wrong every now and then. See example screenshot:

http://kortis.to/harkonen/bug1.png

and (ignore the stupid conversation :) you'll see that two of the buttons are colored in pink. When I move mouse cursor over them, they get painted with correct color. Buttons are also sometimes black.

I've seen this frequently in Gajim, Gimp and Gaim.

I can confirm on two different computers, one of the two having a fresh dapper installation. The rc didn't have this bug, afaik.

I can confirm this. I could consistently reproduce the problem on a recently installed 6.06 installation by entering the network-monitor properties window (see screenshot). On the screenshot I've moved the mouse over the close button to show the color difference.

If I can change the status, I'd say this has been confirmed. :) Since several people have noticed it.

This happens often to me when, for example, adding a bookmark in Epiphany.

Strangely the screenshot shows one of the buttons not coloured blue, and another only partially coloured blue, but when I took the screenshot, all four buttons were completely blue.

I've got the same problem with wrong colors of the buttons. When you move your move over the button it changes back to the correct color.

Rejecting since it is a duplicate of bug #34435.

Changed in xserver-xorg-driver-ati:
