vertical panel scrolls out of control downward, cannot click, it just scrolls down

Chuck, thank you for taking the time to report this bug. Could you tell us if you are using a trackpad/touchpad or a regular mouse? Also, what brand/model device are you using? Have you noticed this issue with other browsers like Konqueror?

I hope I have already replied to your email. I use the trackpad on an IBM T-23. The arrow keys on the keyboard behave correctly. I still have the problem. I assume it is F.Fox. Thank you for your effort and work

Chuck, how are you scrolling down using the trackpad? Are you using two-finger scroll, or maybe the edge-scoll? Or are you scrolling by using the scroll-bar in Firefox?

I normally scroll up or down the page when browsing using the liuttle red
button in the keyboard and the trackpoint buttons, but they often "go wild".
Using the up and down arrow key on the keyboard works fine all the time. It
is a pain. As a result of the problems, I am trying out Chrome and no
problems yet. I also used ephinany without problems.
