gmail attachments won't upload in firefox 3.5.5

after upgrading to ubuntu karmic, gmail attachments do not upload. i tryed to make the same operation with galeon succesfully, i tryed to reinstall flashplugins, but the behaviour doesn't change.

i tryed with office documents, with txt, with zip files, images, and none of the, uploads.

in fact the download bar doesn't even apear.

any attachment, file get wiped and do not stay attached to e mail, additionally Ubuntu mail switch out when send button is activated
